STAMPS Impact Prize Spotlight

STAMPS Impact Prize: Higher Education Portfolio

The Stamps Impact Prize is a competitive award to enhance undergraduate academic experiences by supporting student-initiated research scholarship, creative works, community outreach projects, technology development, or other innovative experiential learning projects. Faculty mentorship is an essential component of these experiences and students will work closely with their mentor during the development and execution of their student projects. CERE works with program leaders to provide summative and formative evaluation activities through annual student and faculty surveys and focus groups. The purpose of the evaluation is to provide formative feedback on program implementation rollout of the first 1.5 years to be used for project learning, adaptation, and improvement. Following the first 1.5 years of implementation, CERE has collected emerging program outcomes on both long- and short-term goals. Long-term goal tracking includes alumni tracking and interviews one year after graduation.
