CERE served as the evaluation and learning partner for Fertile Ground, a Bloomberg Philanthropies Public Art Challenge project in Jackson, MS. Using mixed methods, CERE documented how public art and community engagement contributed to tangible policy change—including transit reforms to improve grocery access—enhanced public spaces, increased community dialogue around food security, and catalyzed over $1.9 million in local economic impact.
