Hewan Deyass

Hewan is a first-year Social Psychology graduate student in the Experimental Psychology program. She received her BA in psychology with a Double Minor in Business Administration and Global Affairs from Trinity Washington University. Her research interests focus on intergroup relations, exploring topics such as subtle bias, polarization, dehumanization, and genocide, all through the lens of conflict resolution. Outside the lab, Hewan enjoys cooking with friends, photography, creative writing, and has very recently picked up birding.
