Roger Davis Jr. is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Higher Education at the University of Mississippi. His research explores the shaped experiences of minoritized stakeholders in higher education, with a focus on rural Black and first-generation students from the Mississippi Delta, using critical theories. Roger earned a Master of Science in Educational Leadership with a focus on student affairs and higher education in 2021 and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2018 from Mississippi State University.
