Dr. Julie Glasco
Julie Glasco is the Assistant to the Provost for Strategic Initiatives and Coordinator of the Provost Scholars Program at the University of Mississippi. Julie works on special projects and initiatives to support academic success for the University of Mississippi as they relate to academics, interactions with the governing board, planning and strategic issues, student services, research, and support programs for the provost. She serves on several committees and task forces for the Office of the Provost. Julie also oversees the Provost Scholars Program which focuses on academic success for Provost Scholar students.
Julie has an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Alabama, and an M.Ed. in Adult and Higher Education from the University of Oklahoma. Julie’s research focuses on rural education, cultures, and access. Before working in the Provost's Office, Julie served as an academic mentor and worked in other academic departments.
