Caleb Miggins

Caleb Miggins is a Biomedical Engineering major from Ridgeland, Mississippi, with an emphasis in Biodevices and a minor in Community Engaged Leadership. Through the Gulf Scholars Program, Caleb hopes to explore the Gulf Coast’s history, understand how past decisions have affected water systems, and learn how communities can avoid repeating those mistakes. For his Gulf Impact Project, he is considering developing a low-cost testing system for underserved communities. Inspired by guest speakers’ stories and experiences, Caleb hopes to make a meaningful difference in a community while laying a foundation that others can build upon to broaden that impact.
