Cecille Labuda gave a talk at the 188th Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA 188) that was held in New Orleans from May 19th to 23rd. The talk was in the Rich Raspet morning session where a series of talks were given in honour and memory of the late Richard Raspet who was an emeritus professor in the department and a leading researcher in the field at the times of his passing in November 2023. The talk titled "Two perspectives on Rich Raspet", was a reflection of how she knew Rich as a student and as a colleague. Cecille gave another talk titled Graduate Programs in Physical Acoustics; Choose Physics or Engineering and was a co-author on a third talk, Ultrasonic Characterization of the Transmural Structure of Human Scalp Tissue.
