Summer undergraduate research program (SURGG)

Cecille Labuda is lead PI on a small grant sponsoring a summer undergraduate research program (SURGG).  Co-PIs are Luca Bombelli and Nicholas McDonald.  The program, Fluids in Motion, is sponsored by the University of Mississippi Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED).  Three UM undergraduates are participating in the this program.  Anisa Jamal, one of the students has joined the lab for the summer, working on a project involving shear waves propagating in a micellar fluid.  The other students are Elizabeth Goreth (working with Nick MacDonald on blazar jets) and Aiden Collura (working with Luca Bombelli on curved spacetime on blazars).
