Courtney is a Clinical Psychology doctoral student from Jacksonville, Florida. She earned her B.A. in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and her M.S. in Community Psychology from Florida A&M University. Her research examines the impact of adverse childhood experiences, mental health outcomes, and racial-cultural identity among Black communities. She is particularly interested in health behaviors and the role of cultural and racial identity as protective factors that support psychological well-being and mental health resilience in Black communities.
