Eddison Jeffreys

My name is Eddison Jeffreys and I am a Psychology major with a minor in Community Engagement Leadership. I aspire to be a Sports Psychologist on a professional sports team or work in education as a School Psychologist and a High School Basketball Coach. My research emphasis is in researching the psychological effects of societal norms, entertainment, and media in the Black experience, but I am also interested in mental and holistic health strategies to improve performance for everyone, especially athletes. I am passionate about cultivating a welcoming environment for everyone on a multicultural level. I am eager to learn how to apply psychological research methods and implement change on holistic health and wellness in the Black community in order for us to be the best individuals we can be.
