Dr. Dineshkumar Sengottuvelu

Dr. Sengottuvelu obtained his M.S. in chemistry from Periyar University (India) in 2011 and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Bharathiar University (India) in 2017. He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (India), specializing in developing multifunctional aggregation-induced emission (AIE) materials and graphene quantum dots. Following two and a half years of postdoctoral experience in graphene quantum dots and sustainable polymer synthesis at the Mississippi State University, Dr. Sengottuvelu is currently working as a Research Scientist at the Center for Graphene Research and Innovation (CGRI) at the University of Mississippi in 2022. His research interests include synthesizing graphene and other low-dimensional materials for energy-efficient electronics, sensing, and bioimaging applications.
