The UM SuPER Group conducts geologic, hydrologic, and environmental research under the direction of Dr. Ron Counts, and includes the Earth Surface and Critical Zone Processes Lab, the Sediment and Core Analysis Lab, and an Engineering and Environmental Geophysics Lab.

The UM SuPER Group includes the graduate and undergraduate students of Dr. Counts, as well collaborators and colleagues in the Department of Geology and Geological Engineering, at the National Center for Physical Acoustics (NCPA), the National Center for Computational Hydroscience and Engineering (NCCHE), and the Department of Sociology and Anthropology.
