Sujith Bashetty
Sujith Bashetty is a Ph.D. candidate in Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery with expertise in the development of oral solid dosage forms aimed at improving the solubility and bioavailability of poorly soluble drugs. His research focuses on formulation design and solid-state, physicochemical, mechanical, and analytical characterization of drug products. He has hands-on experience with advanced formulation platforms, including polymeric and lipid-based nanoparticles, selective laser sintering (SLS) 3D printing, hot-melt extrusion, spray drying, and conventional solid dosage manufacturing. Sujith holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery and currently serves as a Research Assistant, contributing to multiple formulation and drug product development projects. In addition to his research, he has held leadership roles in the AAPS Student Chapter, actively supporting professional development and scientific engagement within the pharmaceutical sciences community.
