Blake Upshaw

Blake Upshaw is a first-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology graduate program at Ole Miss. Blake graduated from Baylor University in Waco, TX, in May 2023. Shortly thereafter, he began a full-time post-baccalaureate research coordinator role in Dr. Eric Storch’s lab at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX. In this role, Blake led multiple large-scale research initiative,s including the Texas Youth Depression and Suicide Research Network and the Safety-A implementation project, where he gained valuable research and clinical experience. His research interests surround problematic social media use among adolescents and young adults: possible trajectories, how it impacts internalizing psychopathology, and its links to lifestyle and physical activity.
