Welcome to the PANDAA Lab!

Peabody Hall

Our Research Efforts

The PANDAA lab is housed in the Department of Psychology at the University of Mississippi. The primary aim of the PANDAA lab is to improve our understanding of the development and maintenance of anxiety and related problems. The ultimate goal of our research is to contribute to the refinement of intervention and prevention efforts for individuals with anxiety disorders and commonly comorbid conditions (e.g., substance use). Although this goal encompasses a broad range of foci, our research is currently primarily focused on projects examining the development and maintenance of anxiety and substance use vulnerabilities among parents and adolescents.

Team

Research

What we do

At the PANDAA Lab, we collect data from a wide range of studies. In addition to our primary lab research, we support data collection for projects led by our graduate students. We are also actively involved in a CDC-funded initiative, the Drug-Free Communities grant, which contributes to national prevention efforts through data-driven insights.
