Mental Health resources are available at the Psychological Services Center, or by calling 662.915.7385. Resources for more information about anxiety disorders and evidence-based psychological treatments are available at ADAA or ABCT.

Lara Fair Receives Award for Poster Presentation

Lara Fair won First place for the undergraduate poster presentation at the Annual Mississippi Psychological Association Conference. Her poster focused on the role of perseverative thinking on insomnia symptoms among those who suffer from symptoms of anxiety and depression. We are so proud of her!

Carson’s Successful Honors Thesis Defense

Congrats to Carson Schmitz! She defended her honors thesis in April 2021. Her thesis was entitled, Examining Race and Anxiety Sensitivity as Predictors of Electronic Cigarette Use and Dependence.
